Classic Game Room HD reviews the MAD CATZ Xbox 360 arcade joystick. This jack-of-all-trades joystick controller is meant to appeal to those who want arcade style action and performance with modern next gen functionality. This review of the Mad Catz controller shows where Mad Catz went right, and where they went dreadfully wrong. It is a USB controller which is good for keeping costs down, but not a terribly arcade style retro controller by any means. If you are downloading arcade classic video games from XBLA Xbox Live Arcade on the Xbox 360 like Ms. Pac Man, Galaga, Xevious or Streets of Rage 2 is this the joystick controller that you should buy? Did MadCatz make the best controller for action gameplay or did MadCatz make merely an acceptable controller for you to spend money on? Watch this and other Xbox 360 and PS3 accessory reviews here on Classic Game Room! Even thought this is a review of a USB controller it won’t work with the PS3 or Wii game consoles, or PC. Strictly a USB controller for the Xbox 360 video game console.

Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 2 for Xbox 360 (also on PC). Call of Duty 2 is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, it takes place during World War 2 and features several characters from the allied perspective. You play as a Russian, British soldier and American and fight wave after wave of Nazis in dozens of intense battles across the globe. Massive in size and scope, COD2 has an immense single player campaign that is both challenging and exhilerating with constant, non stop gunfights and some vehicle levels. Duke it out across deserts, wrecked cities and through France during the D-Day operation, this early release for the Xbox 360 was a pretty heavy hitter as far as first person shooters go. Extremely affordable today and overshadowed by its younger sibling, COD4 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2 should not be overlooked by fans of action games, FPS shooters and WW2 video game enthusiasts. This CGRHD review of Call of Duty 2 has gameplay footage from COD2 showing game play during this World War II video game where the din of battle rarely dies down.

Classic Game Room HD reviews PERFECT DARK ZERO for Xbox 360 from 2005, an early release for the 360 and a memorable first person shooter from Rare. This CGRHD review of Perfect Dark Zero has gameplay footage from Perfect Dark Zero showing game play during this FPS featuring Joanna Dark in a prequel to the Perfect Dark storyline on N64. Use a clever variety of weapons in creative levels that keep the game fresh and interesting from beginning to end. Perfect Dark Zero can be bought today for a song and while it seems slow compared to some more popular shooters these days. The game itself remains technically solid, smooth and sounds awesome. The storyline is sub-par but the replay value due to the amazing level design is high, and that’s what really stands out with this game. Awesome levels, techo style music and lots of cool futuristic weaponry make this an easy game to drop $5 on and add to your collection.
